Mr. Evans earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University. He has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Urbana, and completed graduate work in government policy formulation at the University of Illinois. Mr. Evans also served for many years as an Adjunct Professor in the Honors College at the University of South Florida. He received the Excellence in Teaching Award and superior student ratings for teaching each year. The University of Tampa utilizes the leadership training and mentoring expertise Mr. Evans brings to the MBA program in the John Sykes School of Business. Additionally, Mr. Evans has been a senior member of the Hillsborough County Hospital Authority Board for the past 10 years. The Authority Board has responsibility for overseeing Tampa General Hospital facilities, business relationships and indigent patient care. His professional career includes long term service as a Physician Practice Administrator/CEO for medical groups in need of strategic growth/change and operational management enhancement. Other enterprises have included international hospital joint venture projects. His international projects reach into Russia, Brazil and China.
